Mahwah Building Donor Recognition Event

At the recent CFA Mahwah Building Donor Recognition event, a gold plaque was unveiled honoring the names of the many groups, businesses and individuals whose dedication and hard work made the dream of a new CFA Mahwah building a reality.

 Before a crowd of over 70 people, Patricia Espy, CFA's Executive Director, said a special thank-you to those who were separately honored for their vision and support throughout the building process:

Milk prices have soared over the past year by 26%, eggs by 24%, bread by 13%. Add rising grocery prices to the higher cost of gas and electricity, throw in disappearing jobs and home foreclosures, and you can understand why people are struggling to keep food on the table. Our

govrnment figures 28 million Americans will be using food stamps this year —the highest level since the program began in the 1960’s.
