On Oct. 2, we’ll spotlight the importance of school breakfast and discuss a new law that requires high-poverty New Jersey schools to serve breakfast during the school day.

Known as breakfast after the bell, this approach significantly boosts school breakfast participation. We are holding the event at the Richmond Avenue School in Atlantic City. The district is a leader in providing breakfast to students in all of its school. Hear from local school officials and others about how breakfast after the bell works for students, teachers, parents and the entire school community.
