National School Breakfast Week is March 4 though March 8. It’s a great time to shine the spotlight on school breakfast. In New Jersey, less than half of students eligible for a free or low-cost school breakfast actually receive. Hunger Free New Jersey leads the campaign, which works to end childhood hunger by expanding participation in federal child nutrition programs, including school breakfast.
