National School Breakfast Week is March 4 though March 8. It’s a great time to shine the spotlight on school breakfast. In New Jersey, less than half of students eligible for a free or low-cost school breakfast actually receive. Hunger Free New Jersey leads the campaign, which works to end childhood hunger by expanding participation in federal child nutrition programs, including school breakfast.

We will be releasing a report in early April about the state of school breakfast in New Jersey. So stay tuned. In the meantime, please share these resources with school officials in your local district
